ADHD Coaching for Late Diagnosed Women

Hello and welcome, my fellow ADHDers, and the ADHD curious.

For generations, us daydreamy girls staring out classroom windows, missing out on most of the lesson, flew totally under the radar. Our ADHD went unrecognised, was overlooked.

How did this happen?

We didn’t fit the image. The stereotype of hyperactive, disruptive boys causing chaos in the classroom. The version of ADHD that was seen and very much heard.

Our chaos instead, was on the inside.

Thoughts racing. Minds, a non-stop whirlpool of activity. No wonder we struggled to pay attention.

Teachers could see we were smart and capable, but were not living up to our potential.

They had no idea about our struggles with executive functioning. With cognition, organising and planning.

How could they, when 80 per cent of scientific studies up until 1999 focused solely on ‘hyperactivity’ in boys and men.

We now know more about ADHD than ever before.

We know ADHD in girls and women presents distinctly and differently, and so finally, we’re receiving the all-important, life-changing diagnosis.

Once we have that diagnosis…what next, is the question.

‘Coaching gives us the tools and support we need to be the drivers of our own lives.’

Does this sound familiar?

You are smart, capable and trying hard, but sometimes daily life still looks a bit like this:

  • You arrive at your destination and discover the number one essential item you swore you packed, somehow didn’t make it into your suitcase.

  • Worried about being late, you overcompensate by arriving an hour early for your appointment.

  • You are so burnt out, by the time you go on holiday you straightaway come down with the flu and aren’t able to enjoy it.

I get it! That’s why I help adults with ADHD build a practical framework and personalised toolkit for everyday living.

I help with everything from:

  • Developing new habits and routines that actually stick

  • Growing your confidence and self-trust

  • Harnessing your strengths to add momentum to your days

  • Creating structure and systems that reduce overwhelm

  • Working with your brain’s unique wiring, not against it
